Nidge

I was first introduced to Nidge and his brother Aubs through a workmate who was playing in their FIFA leagues, the FIFA Togga League (FTL).  We were looking to partner with a successful online league and Nidge's enthusiasm for what he and Aubs were providing to the FTL was a FIFA online playing marriage made in FIFA heaven.  We teamed up, rebranded as the Sweetpatch FTL Academy (SFTLA) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Nidge and Aubs through the SFTLA have delivered online leagues and tournaments, initially for the PC and more recently on the PS3 (Nidge's passion) and the Xbox 360.  Nidge's commitment and determination has ensured that all the leagues we have run have concluded successfully as his never be beaten attitude has been a dream.  He is now a very respected member of the UK FIFA scene and a friend and colleague of mine who will always be a trusted and valued friend for life.

More recently Nidge has got behind the PS3 scene and drives forwards our PS3 community at mySweet PS FIFA.  He is doing an amazing job there and the scene goes from strength to strength and we are really looking forward to what he has planned for FIFA 10.

As Nidge and Aubs live in the North West and I live down in sunny Cornwall, we have still managed to get together regularly at i-series events, EA events and this year Nidge and Aubs came down for a holiday in Cornwall where we enjoyed a few beers and a game of golf together.

We all thank Nidge as without his input we would never be here still bringing you online leagues and tournaments.  Thank you mate for making this all possible.
