Final set of FIFA Interactive World Cup UK Live Pre-qualifiers and UK Live Final confirmed

Following hot on the heels of the EA SPORTS live pre-qualifiers that took place just before Christmas and saw another 6 players book their places at the UK Live event in March is it now the turn of PlayStation to confirm the second set of live pre-qualifiers. Learn all about them here...

Final set of FIFA Interactive World Cup UK Live pre-qualifiers

PlayStation, in association with GOALs Soccer Centres, will be hosting 4 pre-qualifier events across the UK with 8 places on offer for the UK Live event. Players will battle it out to get themselves one step closer to the Grand Finals in Barcelona and the $20,000 first prize for being crowned FIWC2010 World Champion.

Details of the 4 GOALs Soccer Centres that will be hosting the pre-qualifiers can be found below: 

All the events will take place between 6pm and 11pm and will only be open to those aged 18 and over. Proof of age will be required for entry and entry will work on a first come, first serve basis with each tournament aiming to cater to 64 players. Player registration will take place at the GOALs Soccer Centres reception desks.

UK Finalists set for Emirates showdown on Monday 22nd March

The date and location for the UK Live event has also now been confirmed with Emirates, the home of Arsenal Football Club, playing host to what should be some cracking games of FIFA 10 on Monday 22nd March. All those that have qualified via the live and online pre-qualifiers events will be invited to play their way to be crowned UK Champion and that place in Barcelona for the Grand Finals.
