For many gamers in the UK, and indeed Europe and beyond, the Insomnia LAN is now a British institution and staple part of the gaming calendar, with the event playing host to some of the biggest eSports tournaments in Europe, and annual host of the UK qualifiers for the World Cyber Games. The event, held 3 times a year at The International Centre in Telford, accommodates over 3000 gamers for 5 days; it’s certainly grown from it’s humble beginnings of no more than 50 all playing off one 10mb switch!
It-was this day 14 years ago that the original concept of the FIFA Multi Roster Assistant (FIFA-MRA) became a reality and this site first appeared on the Internet. 14 years later and we are still going strong and now providing all the top UK FIFA tournaments at both offline and online events. Team Dignitas players Adam Winster and Ty Walton battled their way past 17 other teams to be crowned champions of our very popular 2v2 cup beating TCM Gaming in a close final. Check the bracket here to see their passage to success.
Our insomnia48 Online Pre-Qualifier tournament winner Tassal “Tass” Rushan is our Multiplay 1v1 FIFA 13 Pro Cup Champion. Tass came through the Losers Bracket and beat insomnia47 champion Ty Walton in an epic Grand Final.
