Xbox One Reveal Highlights
Xbox One is the all-in-one games and entertainment system for the living room of the 21st century. Xbox One will launch in markets around the world later this year.
So Tuesday saw the massive announcement by Microsoft as they revealed the next generation of Xbox, the Xbox One. During the same announcement show we were also treated to some early views of FIFA 14 on the Xbox One. To celebrate FIFA 13, a new competition has been launched by Xbox.com offering 2 tickets to see Tottenham Hotspur FC v Fulham FC at White Hart Lane on Saturday 16th March 2013, including 5* accommodation for one night and £250 spending money!
Sweetpatch TV community members Brandon Morris and George Colmer are kindly runnig a FIFA 12 2v2 Marathon as part of the Gaming and Giving for Good (G3) Xbox 360 charity event on Saturday 18th August to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and they will be streaming the games live.
Microsoft has announced the full lineup of products coming later this year including Windows 8, Office, Windows Phone and of course our fall Xbox update which will bring a host of new consumer experiences like Xbox Music, Videos, Games on Windows 8 and Xbox SmartGlass.
So is there going to be a new Xbox or is it just an upgrade to the Xbox software suite?
Microsoft still hasn’t officially announced the console, but we’re certainly getting closer, as developers tell us the next generation of consoles will begin in 2013.
