FIFA Masters Series 2013 | Rule Updates and Requests for Wednesday

As you get prepared for our second monthly FIFA Masters Series (FMS) Online Tournament this Wednesday, we bring you a few Rule Updates and some requests to help everything go as smoothly as possible and to ensure you all have an awesome FIFA 13 Online Tournament experience with us.

FIFA Masters Series (FMS) has both an offline and online element to it encouraging FIFA players to attend LAN events around the UK and also to compete online for FMS Points. FMS points given for online events arer doubled at LAN events to encourage attendance.

Rule Updates

  1. If a game is drawn after 90 minutes:
    1. Play the 1st half of a follow up game – result will stand at end of half unless still drawing.
    2. If still drawing then 2nd half to be played to a Golden Goal (i.e. first player to score wins).
    3. If 3rd or subsequent match(es) required then to be played to a Golden Goal (i.e. first player to score wins).
  2. Disputes to be resolved in Private Chats
  3. All tournamentent communications to be through mySweetpatch TV Chat Room and all results posted on mySweetpatch.TV Event Comment Wall.

Requests

  1. As we will be streaming the whole tournament live, if you are able to stream your matches please let us know by posting your streaming channel URL on the mySweetpatch.TV Event Comment Wall.  We can then show your channels live during our Live Show.
  2. We use Google Hangouts to to run the Live Show through and would to be able to undertake player interviews before and after key matches.  To achieve this we need you to add us as a friend on Google+ so we can invite you to chat during the Live Show,  If you are not a friend before the Google Hangout commences we are unable to invite you in.  Please add me as a friend:


Requirements

To take part in our 2nd FMS Online Tournament you need to:

  1. Be a registered user at mySweetpatch.TV
  2. Be a registered user in our Forums (learn how to join our forums) and regularly visit and communicate in the FMS Sub-Forum
  3. Register your attendance on our mySweetpatch.TV Event
  4. On Wednesday 26th June
    1. The tournament registrations will close at 18:00
    2. All players to be in mySweetpatch TV Chat Room by 19:30
    3. Bracket will be created from 19:30 with everyone who has RSVPed
    4. Tournament will kick off by 20:00
    5. Tournament will be based on single elimination bracket with each round being Best of 1 format
    6. Tournament rules will be based on our normal 1v1 Xbox Rules
    7. Results must be reported on the mySweetpatch.TV Event Comments Wall by both players
    8. Tournament will complete in same evening

FMS Live Coverage

The tournament will be streamed live on Wednesday and a celebrity Show Team with the Back of the Net Podcast lads will bring you the tournament in a unique way.  You will also be able to watch matches where players have the capability to stream live.

FMS League Table

Every FIFA Masters Series qualifying tournament will provide points towards the FIFA Masters Series League based on the players finishing position (based on the Formula 1 Grand Prix points system with points doubled for offline events).
